My dear friend bought this for my birthday a spine tingling experience. With my partner and daughter watching us fly away from the ground, we were made to feel at ease by our wonderful piolet Kim. I had no idea how the ground crew and piolet had to find the perfect departure point and the views were nothing short of spectacular. I would go again in a heartbeat and i would recommend this experience to all age groups. Thanks again to my dear friend for making it possible and to Kim,Randy and Dino.

It was a most perfect morning. Our captain Martin was absolutely brilliant. We felt like we were in the safest hands possible. He is obviously a very accomplished pilot. Everything went without a hitch or even a bump. He was entertaining (without being annoying, as so many people can be when they try too hard and use old rehearsed jokes). We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and will recommend it to everyone we speak to.

Highly recommend this experience. It’s truly enjoyable with great facilities and professional crew. Flight was very pleasant. Mike, pilot in command, is clearly very passionate about his profession. He passes as much information about the flight to patrons as possible. No doubt, we’ll try to book another flight soon! Thank you.

Kim the pilot was a most professional, friendly and informative person who made sure that all passengers were at ease with the trip. He explained everything that was happening and encouraged people to ask questions which he answered with an enormous amount of knowledge and humour. We had a truly exhilarating ride which lasted for more than an hour and culminated in a perfect landing at the Camden airport site. Under Kim’s guidance we quickly packed up the balloon and went back to the cafe in Camden for a hearty hot breakfast including a champagne celebration of our flight. I would like to congratulate all of your staff for making our flight such a memorable occasion. My wife has been on the internet since we arrived back home yesterday talking to her friends about the flight and praising the professionalism and friendliness of the pilot and ground crew. In particular, I would like to thank Kim the pilot who is a valuable asset to the Balloon Aloft organisation.

Just wanted to pass on our thanks to Martin, our pilot yesterday- he did a great job and was most informative regarding his long history in ballooning, and flying generally. We had a perfect morning and enjoyed it very much.

This morning couldn't have gone better. Not only was the hot air balloon ride a wonderful experience I'll never forget, but the services of the staff made my experience something truly spectacular. Our guide and balloon navigator was friendly, down-to-earth and very experienced-- I was impressed by the way he helped the elderly people on our flight, and took extra precautions to make sure they didn't suffer any discomfort. This company clearly prioritises safety, and I personally couldn't have felt safer on my trip, from beginning to end. They will not fly in unsafe weather, because nothing is more important to them than the safety of their patrons, but even if your trip has to be postponed, it's no hassle at all to change to a different date. Luckily for us, the weather was perfect, and the view was absolutely magnificent. Altogether, a magical experience, and one I'd happily recommend to anyone looking for something to do in the area.

I have to say the whole Balloons aloft experience from the electronic check in over the phone the night before to the rendezvous point at Bar Enz, the food, sparkling wine, great pilot, and group all contributed to an experience we will both recommend to others for a long time.

Firstly i would just like to thank the reservations team at the Sydney base, for organising our valentines day VIP flight at Camden, where i took the advantage of the fabulous views and proposed to my fiance. The event was absolutely fantastic and the views breath taking. Secondly i would like to extend a huge thanks to Martin and Travis for making the morning as enjoyable and so totally funny. When my partner and i do this again we will be requesting Martin and Travis again for sure.

Reviewed 16 October 2012 Yesterday I was fortunate enough to take one of your balloon trips out of Camden. My wife and I were given the tickets by our children as a Christmas gift last year. We had never asked for a balloon ride as a present nor did we have any real wish to take such a ride. We are very seasoned travellers and we have done an enormous amount of flying in large planes, smaller aircraft and helicopters. On Sunday morning we were told to meet in Camden at 5.30am. We arrived in Camden early at 5.10am and were surprised to see the Balloon Aloft signage on the median strip in the main street of Camden. We followed the sign into the designated car park and were greeted by Balloon Aloft staff who showed us into a cafe. We were provided with tea and coffee while we waited for the other ticket holders to arrive. We were subsequently put into a group of sixteen people and were told that our pilot would be Kim. The greetings, service and organisation was impeccable and we were soon travelling to the launch site to board the balloon. On arrival at the launch site our pilot Kim gave us a safety talk and proceeded to tell us how we could help in getting the balloon inflated and airborne. In no time at all the balloon was ready to fly and we boarded the basket ready for take-off. There were two balloons being prepared for flight that morning, however, Kim had our balloon in the air for about 15 minutes before the second balloon was inflated. We watched the second balloon take off as we hovered some 4000ft above the launch site. We recently went on a balloon aloft adventure over the Camden valley after I received a voucher for Christmas. It was extremely well organised from the check-in the night prior to the champagne breakfast served at Barenz after the flight. Mike, Deano and the rest of the team made me feel safe throughout the experience and all were highly professional, friendly and experienced balloonists. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Balloon Aloft to anyone looking for a unique and amazing experience.
